(St. Louis, Mo.) - The Webster women's tennis squad won its third consecutive match with a 9-0 win over Fontbonne on Tuesday evening at Shaw Park in Clayton. With the win Webster remains atop SLIAC standings with a 3-0 mark.

    The Gorloks (3-2, 3-0 SLIAC) dropped only two games in the six matches played. Laila Wessel and Maria Penaherrera each earned 6-0, 6-0 straight set wins in the first and four spots while Alex Meyer and Megan Eakes earned 6-1, 6-0 straight set victories. Hannah Wojahn and Erica Jumps won their matches by default.

    Wessel/Meyer and Eakes/Wojahn each won their doubles matches by identical 8-0 scores while Penherrerra and Jumps won their doubles match by default.

    Webster returns to the court Saturday morning for a match with Blackburn at the Webster Groves Recreation Complex starting at 11 a.m.
