Webster's women's tennis team continued to play well in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) play as twin sisters,
Allison Tungate and
Paige Tungate recorded straight set victories in the Gorloks' 9-0 win over Blackburn Thursday.
Alison earned the 6-0, 6-0 victory in second singles, while Paige picked up the win in third singles.
Alexandra Meyer was victorious in first singles, 6-1, 6-2; #Amanda Vest earned the fourth singles win, 6-2, 6-4;
Megan Eakes posted the 6-4, 6-1 victory in fifth singles; and
Hannah Wojahn was victorious in sixth singles, 6-1, 6-0.
Doubles competition brought identical 8-2 victories by the Tungates along with Meyer/Vest in first and second doubles, respectively. Eakes/Wojahn earned the 8-3 win in third doubles.
Webster (7-2) will host Principia 5:30 Tuesday.
