With its second consecutive 9-0 victory, the Webster women's tennis team secured the top seed in the 2009 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament without dropping single set.

Alexandra Meyer earned the first singles victory, 6-3, 6-2; Allison Tungate was victorious in second singles, 7-5, 6-4; #Paige Tungate recorded the third singles victory, 6-1, 6-4; Amanda Vest won her fourth singles flight, 6-0, 6-1; Megan Eakes turned in the 6-2, 6-1 win in fifth singles; and Hannah Wojahn brought home the 6-0, 7-5 win in sixth singles.

In doubles competition, the Tungate twins earned the 8-3 win in the first flight; Meyer/Vest earned the 8-5 second flight victory; and Eakes/Wojahn secured the third flight win, 8-3.
