The Webster University women's tennis team won its first match of the season, 9-0, over Blackburn College (IL) on February 23.  The match was held indoors at the St. Clair Tennis Center in O'Fallon, IL.  

The Gorloks young lineup featured four sophomores and a freshmen, to go along with "veteran" juniors, Alex Meyer (Effingham HS, IL) and #Pamela Proano (American School, Quito, Ecuador).

Webster sees its first home action at the Webster Groves Rec Center on March 6, versus Stephens College.  The Gorloks then take a "spring" break before facing Central College (IA) on March 16 at the Rec Center.
