Women's Team Wins at Westminster, Men Fall

The Webster University women's tennis team defeated Westminster College, 8-1, in Fulton, MO, on March 18. Alex Meyer (JR, Effingham HS, IL) ran her singles record to 3-0, and Allison Tungate (SO, Flora HS, IL) and Mindy Tabakin (SO, First Colonial HS, VA) both upped their singles records to 3-1.

The men's team were defeated 8-1, as Adis Beganovic (JR, St. John the Baptist HS, Bosnia) picked up the lone Webster individual win in singles. With the victory, Beganovic's singles record improved to 4-1 on the season.

The men's (3-2) and women's (2-2) squads are scheduled to face Hendrix College (AR) on March 21 at 9 am at the Webster Groves Rec Center.
