The Webster University men's and women's tennis teams picked up wins at Eureka College (IL) on April 8.  The women finished the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference schedule unbeaten (6-0) for a second straight season by downing Eureka, 7-2.  The men improved its SLIAC record to 2-1 and 8-3 overall with a 9-0 win over the Red Devils.

For the women, Allison Tungate (SO, Flora HS, IL) raised her season singles record to 10-1 with her eight straight win in match play.  Lindsey Hays (FR, Francis Howell HS, STL) raised her first-year record to 10-2.  Paige Tungate (SO, Flora HS, IL), with seven straight wins, is 8-2 on the season.    Webster has clinched the #1 seed in the SLIAC tournament.  The Gorloks improved to 8-4 overall. 

On the men's side, Adis Beganovic (JR, St. John the Baptist HS, Bosnia) won his fourth straight singles match and ran his overall record to 9-2.  Ricky Eaves (McCluer North HS, STL) continued his stellar freshman campaign, winning his sixth straight singles match and improving to 8-3 on the season.  The men play at Greenville College (IL) on April 10.
