Men’s Tennis Earn Second Win of the Spring Season With 5-0 Victory Over Western Connecticut

ORLANDO, Flor. - The Webster University men's tennis team continued spring break play with a match against Western Connecticut State University. The Gorloks won all six matches and earned their second victory of the spring season with a 5-0 win over the Wolves. 

In the number one doubles match, the team of Eli Bartek and Jack Forlenza battled their opponents closely but delivered late in the match to win by the score of 6-4. 

In the number two doubles match, the duo of Griffin Olson and Shawn Smith worked great together and captured a 6-2 victory. 

In the number three doubles match, both teams pushed that much as neither team had enough players to field the match.  

In the number one singles match, Bartek got out to an early lead and paced to an 8-4 victory. 

In the number two singles match, Olson handled business with an 8-3 victory. 

In the number three singles match, Forlenza defeated his opponent and won by the score of 8-3.

In the number four singles match, Smith dominated his opponent with an 8-2 victory. 

Webster and WestConn pushed the number five and six singles match as neither team had enough players to play in those matches.
