A pair of goals by Morgan Milfeld (SR, DeSoto HS, MO) and shutout goalkeeping by Jessica Davis (FR, Belleville West HS, IL) led the Webster University women's soccer team to a 2-0 victory over Fontbonne University, on October 12, at Gay Field in Clayton.

Milfeld grabbed the team lead in goals with six, leap-frogging Ally Nikolaus' (SO, St. Joseph's Academy) total of five goals on the season.  Milfeld's second strike came on a header off a cross from Whitney Scott (FR, Holy Cross HS, KY). 

Davis picked up her first collegiate win and first shutout in the victory.  Davis' goals against average on the season dropped to a microscopic 0.32 with the blanking.  She leads the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in fewest goals allowed (2) and goals against average.

Webster improved to 3-0 in the SLIAC.  The Gorloks travel to MacMurray College (IL) on October 15, then return home to the Soccer Park for three straight SLIAC contests.
