The Webster University women's tennis team improved to 12-1 on the year with a 9-0 blanking of Missouri Baptist University on March 29, at the Webster Groves Tennis Center. The Gorloks managed to sweep the match despite facing a Spartan team that coach Mike Siener described as a "very good team."
Lindsey Hays (JR, Francis Howell HS) improved to 10-1 in singles on the year and Allison Tungate (GR, Flora HS, IL), Paige Tungate (SR, Flora HS, IL), and Marissa Lewis (FR, Owasso HS, OK) all improved to 10-2 in singles. Hilary Fitz (FR, St. Joseph's Academy) won her debut match at #6 singles.
