The Webster University women's tenns team defeated Fontbonne University, 9-0, on April 21 at the Webster Groves Tennis Center.  Marissa Lewis (JR, Owasso, OK/Owasso HS), fresh off her third SLIAC Player of the Week selection, won her ninth straight singles match at #1.

The Gorloks won the first two doubles matches, 8-2 and 8-6, and won the third by default over the short-hand Griffins. Webster then took all four singles played, and the final two by default for a 9-0 finish.

Webster is 4-9 overall and 2-3 in the SLIAC.  Next up for Webster is the SLIAC Tournament on April 25-26 at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center in Forest Park.
