The Webster University women's tennis team won its second straight match to open the 2014-15 year, defeating Missouri Baptist University, 7-2, at CBC High School on September 13.  The Gorloks took two of three doubles to open the match, then took five of six singles, all in straight sets, to wrap up the victory.

Marissa Lewis (SR, Owasso, OK/Owasso HS) extended her singles win streak to 15, winning her first four this fall and closing out the 2013-14 season with 11 straight wins.  All of Lewis' wins have come at the #1 position.  Freshman Monica Buehrle (Atlanta, GA/East Paulding HS) remained undefeated in singles, improving to 5-0 with her win at #2.  Fellow freshman, Jesse Steffens-Willis (St. Louis, MO/Rockwood Summit HS) improved to 4-1 in singles with her win at #5.

The Gorloks travel to Belleville, IL, to play NCAA II member McKendree University on September 14, then complete the fall portion of this year's schedule with an exhibition match vs. Lewis and Clark Community College on September 18 in Godfrey, IL.  Full results for the match versus Missouri Baptist, an NAIA member, are listed below.
