Webster's Monica Behrle has the honor of being selected as the first 2016 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference women's tennis Player of the Week, for February 22-28.  This is Behrle's third selection, in just her second season of play.

A sophomore from Atlanta, GA (East Paulding HS), Behrle notched three wins last week, including a pair of wins at #1 singles. She won 6-4, 4-6, 10-8 in a battle of #1 players at Coe College.  Behrle followed with a 6-4, 6-2 win at #1 at Cornell Colege.  Behrle also notched a win at #2 doubles vs. Cornell with partner Madison Watts (FR, Rogersville, MO/Logan-Rogersville HS), winning 8-6.

Webster heads to Hilton Head, SC, for its spring break, on March 7-11, playing three matches.
