The Webster University women's tennis team saw its five-match win streak come to an end as it lost to Rhodes College, 7-2, on March 25 at the Webster Groves Tennis Center.  The Gorloks battled at doubles but fell behind, 2-1, and the Lynx took firm control in the singles to secure the win.

Jesse Steffens-Willis (SO, St. Louis, MO/Rockwood Summit HS) and Stephanie Lass (SO, Lake Villa, IL/Lakes Community HS) won at #3 doubles, 8-3.  But Monica Behrle (SO, Atlanta, GA/East Paulding HS) and Madison Watts (FR, Rogersville, MO/Logan-Rogersville HS) lost a hard-fought match, 9-7, at #2, as the Lynx took the 2-1 edge.

Sara Rice (FR, Mahomet, IL/Mahomet-Seymour HS) was the lone victor at singles for Webster, winning in straight sets at #4. 

The Gorloks are 7-6 overall on the year.  Webster will next be in action on April 2 in Chicago vs. Wheaton College.  Full results for today's match:
