ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Webster University women's soccer team was back in action this evening when they resumed play in their match against Blackburn (Ill.) College that was originally scheduled for September 21
st but was postponed due to rain. The Gorloks, who picked up the programs 350
th win on Saturday, defeated the Beavers by a final score of 11-0 to improve to 6-5-1 on the season and 3-2-1 in SLIAC play. With the loss, Blackburn falls to 1-8 on the season and 0-6 in the conference.
Webster outshot Blackburn 66-0 and put 32 shots on target. They also won the corner count as they finished with 19 while the Beavers did not record any. Their 66 shots are the third most in a game in Gorlok history.
The first 14 minutes of the match were played on September 21
st prior to a rain storm that forced the Gorloks to postpone the game. Webster led 1-0 in the match after
Mackenzie Sundhausen found the back of the net in the 8
th minute of the contest for her first goal of the season.
Mackenzie O'Neal had the assist for the Gorloks.
After the restart, the Gorloks scored three more goals in the half including a second tally from
Mackenzie Sundhausen in the 16
th minute of the contest.
Mackenzie O'Neal scored her fourth of the year in the 18
th minute and
Grace Rodgers finished off her sixth of the season in the 36
th minute to put Webster up 4-0 at the break.

Reaghan Young had the assists.
The Gorloks continued to play well in the second half and scored seven goals in the period.
Angie Calabrese scored her second of the season in the 51
st minute off an assist from
Mackenzie Sundhausen. Sundhausen then completed her first career hat trick in the 55
th minute off an assist from
Mya Stegen.
Hope Dedic scored her first goal of the year off an assist from
Isabella Dickneite in the 58
th minute.
Emily Buchholz scored her second of the year in the 65
th minute off an assist from
Mackenzie O'Neal.
Sienna Inouye tallied her first career goal in the 81
st minute off an assist from
Grace Rodgers. Rodgers then scored the final goal of the contest in the 84
th minute off an assist from
Payton Harting.
Taryn Banfield was in goal for Webster as she did not record a save in her fourth shutout of the season.
The Gorloks will return to the pitch on Wednesday, October 5
th when they travel to Louisville, Kentucky, to take on the Spalding (Ky.) University Golden Eagles for a SLIAC matchup. The game is set to kick-off at 5:30 p.m. EST.
