ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Erin Brezovar and Bailey Higgins of the Webster women's tennis team were back in action over the weekend when they competed in the ITA Regional Championships. The two competed in doubles while also competing as individuals in their respective flights.

The pair started off the weekend in doubles where they fell in the first round of main bracket by a final score of 8-4 to Renee Torres and Sophie Zhuang of Kalamazoo (Mich.) College. They went on to compete in the consolation bracket where they fell in their first match to Shanzay Ali and Katie Lee from Ohio Wesleyan University by a final score of 8-6.

Erin Brezovar competed in the main draw in singles and fell in the first round to Katie Lee from Ohio Wesleyan University by final scores of 6-2 and 6-4. She then went on to play a highly competitive match in the consolation bracket but ultimately fell to Caitlyn Hanulikova of Augustana (Ill.) College by final scores of 7-6 (2), 1-6, and 7-10.

Bailey Higgins competed in the Red Draw in singles and fell in the first round to Eleni Dakos from Kenyon (Ohio) College by final scores of 6-2 and 6-0. She then went on to compete in the consolation bracket where she fell to Claire Cardie from Franciscan University of Steubenville (Ohio) by a final score of 8-4.

This marks the end of the fall season for the women's tennis team. They will resume their season in the spring.
