ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Webster University men's tennis team will resume their 2022-23 season when they open their spring schedule with a home match against Mississippi University for Women on Friday, February 17th at Woodsmill Racket Club in Town and Country, Missouri.
Webster will play their first road matchup of the season on Saturday, February 25
th when they travel to O'Fallon, Illinois, to take on McKendree (Ill.) University at St. Clair Racket Club. They will then follow that up with road matches against Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois, and Illinois College in Jacksonville, Illinois, on Saturday, March 4
th.
The men's tennis team will travel to Hilton Head, South Carolina, for their annual spring break trip from Friday, March 10
th to Saturday, March 18
th. Their spring break schedule has not yet been announced.
The Gorloks will return home for four straight matches from March 24
th to March 30th. They will take on Kaskaskia (Ill.) College on Friday, March 24
th. They will host Baker (Kan.) University and the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis on Saturday, March 25
th. Lastly, they will host Lewis and Clark Community College on Thursday, March 30
th. All four matches will take place at the Webster Groves Recreational Complex.
Webster will hit the road to open Upper Midwest Athletic Conference play when they travel to Elsah, Illinois, on Tuesday, April 4
th to take on the Principia (Ill.) College Panthers and to Greenville, Illinois, on Wednesday, April 12
th to take on the Greenville (Ill.) University Panthers. The Gorloks will wrap up their regular season at the Webster Groves Recreational Complex on Sunday, April 16
th against Westminster (Mo.) College.
The Gorloks will kick off postseason play with the UMAC South Division Tournament at Dwight Davis Tennis Center in St. Louis, Missouri, from Friday, April 21
st to Saturday, April 22
nd. The UMAC Tournament will take place at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota, from Friday, April 28
th to Saturday, April 29
th.
The 2023 NCAA Division III Men's Tennis National Tournament is set to take place from May 14
th to May 22
nd at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
