Four Gorloks Earn All-Conference Honors

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) has announced the All-Conference honorees from the 2025 SLIAC Men's Cross Country Championships. The Gorloks had four student-athletes earn All-Conference honors; two First Team and two Second Team selections. 

In order for a student-athlete to receive All-Conference honors, the student-athletes must have finished within the 16 spots; the top eight finishers earned First Team honors while finishers in the spot of 9-16 earned Second Team honors. 

The First Team All-Conference honorees include first-year Simon Muthemba and Ethan Nieroda. Muthemba, a Maryland Heights native, recorded a time of 27:07.85 that earned third place overall and his first career All-Conference selection.

Nieroda, a junior runner from O'Fallon, Missouri earned a time of 27:21.26 that secured sixth overall. With this All-Conference selection, it marks his third consecutive year of earning an All-Conference award. 

The Second Team All-Conference honorees include first-year Brayden Halter and junior Johnny Imboden. Halter, a Bridgeton, Missouri native, earned a time of 27:45.73 that earned 11th overall and his first career All-Conference selection. 

Imboden, a junior runner from Columbia, Missouri had a great race and recorded a time of 29:30.19 that earned 16th overall. With this selection, it marks his first career All-Conference honor.
