ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) has released the end of season awards for the sport of men's basketball. WU's Karl Moore Jr. and Jemard Sykes II secured All-Conference honors as Moore Jr was selected to the First Team while Sykes II was named to the Second Team.

Moore Jr, a native of Jennings, Missouri led the team with a total of 155 rebounds for an average of 8.2 rebounds per game that finished second in the conference. In addition, he led the team with 49 blocks for an average of 2.6 per game that finished second in the league.

Moreover, he shot a team-best 55.1 percent from the field that finished third in the conference. In addition, he finished second on the team in scoring with an average of 12.8 points per game that ranks 14th among all conference players. This season, Moore Jr led the team with six double-doubles. Lastly, he recorded 28 assists and 19 steals. With this selection, it marks the fourth consecutive All-Conference honor and second First Team selection in his career.

Sykes II, a native of St. Louis led the team with 54 made three-point baskets which finished eighth in the conference. In addition, he shot 44.6 percent from the field that also finished eighth in the league. Moreover, Sykes II shot 70.1 percent from the free-throw line that finished ninth among all players in conference play. 

The sharp shooting guard led the team in scoring with an average of 13.1 points per game that finished 12th in the conference. In addition, he led the Gorloks with 55 assists for an average of 2.1 assists per game that finished 16th in the league. Lastly, he led the team with 31 steals for an average of 1.2 steals per game that finished 20th overall in the conference. With this selection, it marks the first all-conference honor in his Gorlok career.
