Women’s Cross Country Picked Fourth In 2025 SLIAC Preseason Poll

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) has released their second preseason poll of the season which was the 2025 Women's Cross Country preseason poll. The Gorloks were picked to finish fourth this season with 39 points.

The Gorloks return one student-athlete from last year's squad in Brie Inman as she looks to lead the lineup this season. Head Coach Kyle Robinson is excited to welcome five newcomers to the roster which includes Keylit Gomez (Kansas City, Mo.), Violet Hill (Leadville, Co.), Averie Holifield (Hermann, Mo.), Lydia Imboden (Columbia, Mo.), and Scout O'Toole (Wildwood, Mo.).

The women's cross country team will open the 2025 season on August 29 by hosting the Webster Opener at Buder Park North in St. Louis, Missouri. Seven days later on September 5, the team will compete in the Panther Prowl XC Classic at Yellow Creek Path course in Owensboro, Kentucky. Two weeks later on September 19, the Gorloks will travel to Detweiler Park in Peoria, Illinois and compete in the Bradley Invitational hosted by Bradley University.

Following a three week break of meets, the team will travel to Hannibal, Missouri on October 11 and will compete in the Trojan Invitational hosted by Hannibal-LaGrange University. The team will continue their schedule in the state of Missouri on October 18 by traveling to the University of Missouri and competing in the Pre-National Invitational at Gan's Creek in Columbia, Missouri.

This season, the Gorloks will host the 2025 SLIAC Women's Cross Country on November 1 at Buder Park North in St. Louis. The team will close out the season at the 2025 NCAA Midwest Regional Championships on November 15 in Waverly, Iowa hosted by Wartburg College.
