Women’s Tennis Suffer Home Lost To Kentucky Wesleyan

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Webster University Women's Tennis team hosted the Panthers of Kentucky Wesleyan College for a non-conference match and fell by the score of 0-7. 

In the number one doubles match, the duo of Maggie McBratney and Abby Cristea won one set but lost the set by the score of 1-6. 

In the number two doubles match, the team of Maria Pinilla Pena and Doreen Eyongeta battled but fell by the score of 0-6. 

Kentucky Wesleyan won the third doubles match by default. 

In the number one singles match, McBratney battled her opponent back-and-forth in the opening set to a tie at six apiece. In the tiebreaker set, McBratney fell short by the score of 0-5. In the second set, she earned two set victories but dropped the match by the score of 2-6. 

In the number two singles match, Cristea fought hard but fell by the scores of 0-6 and 0-6.

In the number three singles match, Eyongeta earned two sets but fell by the scores of 1-6 and 1-6.

In the number four singles match, Analiese Smith played hard but dropped the match by the scores of 0-6 and 0-6.
