Merritt and Patterson Record Top-10 Finishes in 100m Dash; LaRue and Richardson Compete At Pittsburg State

PITTSBURG, Kan. - Four members on the Webster University men's track and field team continued the outdoor season by competing at The Almost Last Chance Invitational. WU's Austin Merritt and Dylan Patterson competed in the 100m dash while Kaiden Richardson and Lucas LaRue competed in the 400m and 400m hurdles events respectively.

In the 100m dash, Patterson earned a sixth place finish with a time of 10.62 seconds in the prelims which qualified for the finals.In the finals, he crossed the finish line with a time of 10.46 seconds that finished fifth overall.

Merritt earned a seventh place finish with a time of 10.58 seconds in the prelims that qualified for the finals. In the finals, he crossed the finish line with a time of 10.47 seconds that earned sixth overall.

In the 400m dash, Richardson crossed the finish line with a time of 50.95 seconds.

In the 400m hurdles event, LaRue crossed the finish line with a time of 58.34 seconds.
