(St. Louis, Mo.) - The Webster Gorloks men's tennis squad had little trouble in sweeping past Fontbonne 9-0 on Tuesday evening at Shaw Park in Clayton. Webster earned its second straight victory and third in the last four outings.

    The Gorloks (3-4, 2-2 SLIAC) dropped only nine games in the six singles matches with Zach Papes and Dino Fajic each earning straight set wins at 6-0, 6-0 at the two and five positions. WU cruised through the singles matches with no set going past eight points. Rolf Rothermel picked up 6-0, 6-1 win in the first position while Zach Mangelsdorf, Tomoyo Homma, and David Chow won in the third, fourth and sixth slots.

    In the doubles competition Rothermel/Papes and Mangelsdorf/Homma each picked up 8-0 in the first two spots. Satrio Norojono and Eric Seiler had the closest match of the evening earning a 9-7 victory.

    Webster returns to action with a home match on Thursday afternoon against Cornell College (Iowa) at the Webster Groves Recreation Complex beginning at 5:30 p.m.
