Every starter reached double figures as Webster concluded its 2008-09 season with a 80-63 victory over Principia Tuesday at Grant Gymnasium.

Freshman Blaire Underwood connected on two three-pointers to bring her season total to 49, which ties the school's single-season mark. She finished with 10 points with a team-high five assists. Sophomore Katy Meyer, who assisted on Underwood's tying three-pointer, finished with 48 three-pointers on the season for third place. Meyer recorded 14 points in the game.

Junior Julie McGirl finished the game with 20 points on 7-of-9 shooting and nine rebounds, while freshmen Ayrica Lockett and Myrtie Reilly contributed 11 and 10 points, respectively.

While the Gorloks were tickling the nets to the tune of 52 percent (28-of-54), including 55 percent (15-of-27) in the second half, Webster was stout defensively. WU limited the Panthers to 26 percent (7-of-27) in the first half.

Webster (11-14 overall, 6-10 SLIAC) had a one-game improvement in conference from last season's 5-11 finish.
