The women’s tennis team was presented with the annual Team GPA Award by Athletic Director Tom Hart at the Grant Gymnasium on Friday, September 11.  Women’s tennis were honored for accumulating a 3.49 grade point average for the 2008-2009 academic year, leading all Webster teams.
 
Following close behind were the women’s softball team at 3.435, women’s cross-country at 3.428, and women’s soccer at 3.408.   Ten of the twelve full athletic teams had grade point averages over 3.0.  Hart challenged all of the teams to strive to be the best for 2009-2010.

All teams, coaches, and staff were present for the annual full Athletic Department photo shoot.  The photo hangs in the Grant Gymnasium and is updated yearly.
