The Webster University women's soccer team will be heading into the St. Louis Interocollegiate Athletic Conference post-season tournament on a winning not, defeating Eureka College, 8-0, on October 30 at Eureka, IL. Morgan Milfeld (JR, DeSoto HS, MO) led the scoring parade for the Gorloks with the first hat trick of her career.
Milfeld's three goals brought her season total to seven. Also scoring for the Gorloks were Jordan Geller (JR, O'Fallon HS, IL), Julie Fosburgh (FR, Colllinsville HS, IL), Katie Aubuchon FR, Affton HS), Christy Capkovic (SR, Mehlville HS), and Megan Niederschulte (SR, Pattonville HS).
Brittany Senator (JR, Quincy HS, IL) and Maria Arias (SO, Lincoln HS, Costa Rica) shared the shutout in the nets for the Gorloks. Senator raised her season record to 7-2 with the decision.
Webster finishes the regular season 6-2 in the SLIAC, and 12-7 overall. Next up is the first round of the SLIAC tournament. Webster travels to Principia College (IL) on November 3 for a contest at 4:30 p.m. The winner will face either Greenville College (IL) or Fontbonne University in the finals.
