Men's Tennis Jumps To 3-0

The Webster University men's tennis team downed Illinois College, 6-3, at Jacksonville, IL, on March 3.  Adis Beganovic (JR, St. John the Baptist HS, Bosnia) and Tomoya Homma (SR, Kumon Leysin, Japan) ran their singles records to 3-0 and remain unbeaten in singles and doubles match play.

2. Derek Sloan (ICMT) def. Ricky Eaves (WUMT) 6-2, 7-6
3. Adis Beganovic (WUMT) def. Josh Kuehn (ICMT) 6-1, 6-1
4. Toru Kabachi (ICMT) def. Ryan Fassler (WUMT) 6-4, 3-6, 10-8
5. Tomoya Homma (WUMT) def. Mitch Davidson (ICMT) 6-0, 6-7, 10-7
6. Dino Fajic (WUMT) def. Colin Ladd (ICMT) 7-6, 6-3

Doubles competition:
1. Michael Evans/Derek Sloan (ICMT) def. Diego Alarcon/Dino Fajic (WUMT) 8-2
2. Ricky Eaves/Adis Beganovic (WUMT) def. Mitch Davidson/Toru Kabachi (ICMT) 8-2

The men now take an extended spring break from competition before resuming on March 16 versus Central College (IA) at the Webster Groves Recreation Complex.
