Fresh off earning six 1st Team All-Conference spots, the Webster University women's tennis team had one final warm-up before the SLIAC Tournament, winning at Maryville University, 8-1, on April 20.  The Gorloks improved on impressive individual records, as several winning streaks were maintained in the victory over the Saints.

#Allison Tungate# (SO, Flora HS, IL) won her 10th singles match in a row, improving to 11-1 on the year, while Paige Tungate (SO, Flora HS, IL) won her eighth straight and improved to 10-2.  Lindsey Hays (FR, Francis Howell HS, STL) improved to 11-2 in match play singles and 12-3 overall.   Mindy Tabakin (SO, First Colonial HS, VA) raised her spring match record to 8-3 and she is 12-4 overall for the year.  Alex Meyer (JR, Effingham HS, IL) improved to 8-4 in match play on the year. 

The women's and men's teams will play for the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championships on April 24 at the Webster Groves Rec Center.  The men's semi-final matches will take place at 9 am, with the championship being played at 2 pm.  The women's semis will start at 11:30 am and the finals at 4:30 pm.
