The Webster University men's tennis team won back to back home matches on April 2-3, beating Maryville University, 7-2, and Fontbonne University 9-0.  The Gorloks ran their season record to 7-3, and have won three straight, as they head into the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference portion of their spring schedule.

Diego Alarcon (FR, American School, Ecuador) won #2 singles matches, 6-1, 6-0, vs. Maryville and 6-0, 6-2  vs. Fontbonne, and partnered with Zach Papes (JR, McCluer North HS, STL) to sweep their doubles matches.  The Gorloks only lost five games in singles play to Fontbonne in 12 sets.

The Gorloks are 1-1 in SLIAC matches as they face Eureka, Greenville, and Principia Colleges consecutively, in preparation of the SLIAC post-season tournaments.  The results for the Maryville and Fontbonne matches are as follows:
