The Webster University women’s soccer team found its scoring touch in Jacksonville, IL, beating Illinois College, 8-0, on September 8. Six different Gorloks were in the scoring column with Christy Capkovic (SR, Mehlville HS, STL), the NCAA in scoring leader in 2009, and freshman Jordan Fosburgh (Collinsville HS, STL) the only two- goal scorers. Webster evened its record at 1-1 on the season.

In addition to Capkovic and Fosburgh, Megan Niederschulte (SR, Pattonville HS, STL), Amanda Zeier (JR, McCluer HS, STL), Lindsey Owens (Jr, St. Dominic HS, STL), and Elizabeth Bitzer (FR, Ft. Zumwalt West HS, STL) tallied goals.
