Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Both Webster University basketball teams suffered defeats at Rust College (MS) on December 10, as the men fell 81-74, and the women lost, 41-35.  Box scores for both games were not available.

The Webster women fell behind 21-14 at the half and chased the Bearcats throughout the second half. Maggie Zehner (JR, Oakville HS) led the Gorloks with 13 points.  The Webster men were down by 19, 49-30, at the half and managed to make up some of the deficit...but not enough for a win.  Stefan Whittingham (SO, Ft. Lauderdale HS, FL) once again led the Gorloks with 22 points, and picked up eight rebounds.

The men are 1-7 on the season, and the women are 0-6.  Both teams are back in action on December 11, vs. Austin College (TX) at Grant Gymnasium.  The men will have three weeks off following that contest, while the women will play three more games before the new year.
