The Webster University tennis squads split vs. Missouri Baptist University as the women won 7-2, while the men lost by an identical score, on September 20 at the Webster Groves Tennis Center.  The win for the women was its first vs. the Spartans, an NAIA school.

Paige Tungate (SR, Flora HS, IL) at #1, Lindsey Hays (JR, Francis Howell HS) at #2, Allison Tungate (SR, Flora HS, IL) at #3, and Marissa Lewis (FR, Owasso HS, OK) at #4, were all victorious in singles for the women.  Hays and Isabella Espinoza (FR, Temecula HS, CA) won at #2 doubles, and Lewis and Lauren Hacker (Corona de Sol HS, AZ) won at #3. 

Agustin Villalba (JR, American School, Ecuador) was the lone singles winner for the men, and Villalba and Alex Magrath (JR, University City HS) won in doubles.

The women's team heads to Illinois on September 23 to take on Millikin University (IL) and then face Elmhurst College (IL) and St. Jose[h's College (IN).  The men are on the court next at Fontbonne University on September 27.
