The Webster University men's tennis team beat Fontbonne University, 6-3, on September 27 at Shaw Park in Clayton.  Webster took four singles and two doubles wins to pick up the victory.  Several Gorloks saw their first and action, and their first taste of victory in the match.

Veterans Ricky Eaves (JR, McCluer North HS)  and Alex Magrath (JR, University City HS) had wins in singles and partnered for a win in doubles.   Junion Dustin Thode (Crystal City HS, MO) was a first time winner in 2011-12, picking up a victory in singles, and Zach Green (FR, Booneville HS, IN) won his first collegiate singles match.

Zach Selby (FR, Enterprise HS, CA) and Daniel DeVasto (FR, St. John Vianney HS) partnered in doubles and picked up their first collegiate victory.

The men's team hosts Lindenwood University-Belleville and Concordia College to finish up the fall portion of its schedule at the Webster Groves Tennis Center on October 8.
