Box Score Webster University's women's soccer team claimed its seventh win in a row with a 5-1 victory over MacMurray College Saturday (Oct. 26) in Jacksonville, Ill.

The Gorloks clinched a spot in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament with the win. The top four teams in the regular-season standings advance to the tournament.

Webster has outscored its opponents 32-3 during the seven-game winning streak. The Gorloks have scored 63 goals this season (3.7 goals per game) while conceding 11 (0.6 goals per game).

Sophomore Lauren Pratt (St. Louis, MO / Incarnate Word) compiled three points against MacMurray with a goal and an assist. Pratt leads the Gorloks in assists with 10 this season.

Sophomore Ashley Mess (St. Louis, MO / Northwest) recorded her team-high eighth goal of the season on an assist from her twin sister, sophomore Jessica Mess (St. Louis, MO / Northwest).

Seniors Ally Nikolaus (St. Louis, MO / St. Joseph's Academy), Jordan Fosburgh (Collinsville, IL / Collinsville), and sophomore Lauren Bordeaux (St. Louis, MO / Kirkwood) also scored for Webster.

Junior Lindsey Adshade (Chicago, IL / DeKalb) earned two assists and has seven on the season. Senior Katie Aubuchon (St. Louis, MO / Affton) was credited with her second assist in as many games.

Webster outshot the home team 23-2, including a 10-1 edge in shots on goal.

The Gorloks improved to 15-2 overall and 7-0 in SLIAC play with the win. Webster is the SLIAC's lone unbeaten team in conference action.

Up next, Webster hosts Westminster Tuesday (Oct. 29) at 7 p.m. The Gorloks then face Iowa Wesleyan Saturday (Nov. 2) at 3 p.m. in Webster's regular-season finale. Both games will be played at St. Louis Soccer Park.Â
