The Webster University men's tennis team evened its season record at 2-2 with a 7-2 win over Fontbonne University, on March 19 at Shaw Park in Clayton, MO. The Gorloks won two of the three doubles matches to open the night, then took five of six singles to run away with the match.

The Gorloks won three of the singles matches without losing a game and lost only three games total in the five singles wins. Travis Blair (JR, Jerseyville, IL/Jerseyville HS) won at #1 singles and teamed with Trent Purnell (JR, Marion, IL/Marion HS) to win, 8-1, at #2 doubles. Purnell, Carlton Poindexter (SR, Florissant, MO/McCluer North HS), Matt Lang (JR, St. Louis, MO/Lindbergh HS), and Eric Bateman (SO, Maryland Heights, MO/Pattonville HS) also won at singles.
