The Webster University men's tennis team lost its St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opener, falling to Principia College, 9-0, at Elsah, IL on March 24. The Panthers had too much firepower for the Gorloks, sweeping the doubles to take a 3-0 lead, then sweeping the singles as well.
The Gorloks are 0-1 in the SLIAC and 3-4 overall with the loss. Webster's next match is at home on April 2 vs. Fontbonne University at the Webter Groves Tennis Center.
