The Webster University men's tennis team lost to Westminster College, 6-3, on April 15 at the Webster Groves Tennis Center.  The loss drops the Gorloks to the #4 seed in the upcoming St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament with a 1-3 regular season recod.

Westminster improves to 2-2 in the SLIAC and clinches the #4 seed in the tournament.  Webster fell to 4-6 overall with the loss.  The Gorloks fell behind, 1-2, in the doubles competition, and the Blue Jays clinched the match, going 4-2 in singles play.  Travis Blair (JR, Jerseyville, IL/Jerseyville HS) at #1, and Carlton Poindexter (SR, Florissant, MO/McCluer North HS) at #6, won in straight sets for the Gorloks' singles wins. 

Trent Purnell (JR, Marion, IL/Marion HS) and Poindexter won at #3 double, 8-3.

The Gorloks host Millikin University on April 23 at the Webster Groves Tennis Center.  The SLIAC Tournament takes place on April 24-25 at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center in Forest Park.  The results for the Westminster/Webster match were:
