The Webster University men's tennis team downed Simpson College (IA), 6-3, and Wisconsin Lutheran College, 7-2, on March 19 in Galesburg, IL.  With the two neutral site wins, the Gorloks improved to 4-1 on the season.

Juan Granizo (JR, Quito, Ecuador/Colegio Alberto Einstein) improved to 5-0 on the season in singles with wins at #1 in both matches.  Charles McGee (FR, Waterloo, IL/Waterloo HS) improved to 4-1 in singles on the year with wins at #6 vs. Simpson and at #5 vs. Wisconsin Lutheran.

Webster fell behind, 1-2, in doubles against Simpson, but then clinched the match against the Storm by going 5-1 in the singles competition.  Simpson is 8-5 on the year.

The win against Wisconsin Lutheran was a little easier as the Warriors had only five available players, giving Webster wins by default at the #3 doubles and #6 singles.  The Gorloks took a 2-1 lead in the doubles vs. Lutheran and went 5-1 in the singles as well to clinch the match.

Webster opens St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play when they travel to Fulton, MO, on March 22 to take on Westminster College.
