TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Webster University Men's Track and Field continued its indoor season here Friday evening by setting a new school record in the 60-meter hurdle from junior
Joe Souvannarath (Imperial, Mo./St. John's Vianney) and junior sprinter
Jacob Ridenhour (Jerseyville, Ill./Jerseyville) taking home first place in the both the 60 and 200-meter dashes at the 2020 Friday Night Spikes Engineer Invitational held at the Sports and Recreation Center.Â
Those three performances helped the Gorloks score a total of 35 points and finish fifth out of 10 teams at the event hosted by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Wabash took home the team title with 132 points, while Rose-Hulman was second with 94 points and Kentucky Wesleyan placed third with 63 points.Â
The Gorloks, who sent 11 competitors to Friday's meet, won two of the nine events they competed in and had eight Top 7 finishes in five other events. In addition, Webster scored in a total of five events.Â
