ST. CHARLES, Mo. – The Webster University golf team was back in action over the last two days when they traveled to St. Charles, Missouri, to compete in the Lindenwood Invitational at Missouri Bluffs Golf Course. The Gorloks finished in 15
th place after shooting a two-round score of 658 (327-331, +90). Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College won the tournament with a two-round score of 590 (299-291, +22).
Justin McCoy was the top finisher for Webster as he finished in a tie for 33
rd out of 91 golfers after shooting a two-round score of 157 (80-77, +15). McCoy finished the tournament with a team high 23 pars while recording two birdies.
Jan Antonin Wdowka and
Josh Hayes were the next closest finishers as Wdowka finished in a tie for 62
nd while Hayes finished in a tie for 64
th. Wdowka shot a two-round score of 165 (82-82, +23) while Hayes finished with a two-round score of 166 (79-87, +24).
Trent Garrett and
Austen Velazquez rounded out the scored competitors for Webster as Garrett finished in a tie for 70
th with a score of 170 (86-84, +28) while Velazquez finished in a tie for 76
th with a score of 174 (86-88, +32).
In addition,
Nathan Rivera competed as an individual in the event and finished 83
rd overall with a score of 178 (91-87, +36).

Dominic Clemons of Hutchinson Community College won the event with a two-round score of 142 (72-70, E).
The Gorloks will return to the course on Monday, March 27
th and Tuesday, March 28
th when they travel to Montgomery, Alabama, to compete in the Huntingdon Invitational at Wynlakes Country Club.
