10 Gorloks Earn UMAC Award

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference has announced the 2022-23 Winter/Spring Academic All-Conference honorees. For their efforts in the classroom, Joseph West, Nicholas Granada, Alex Magrath, and Alex Pinkston all earned the award from the men's tennis team while Erin Brezovar, Emma Ferguson, Bailey Higgins, Chloe Daughtry, Kylie Chitwood, and Maddie Mena earned the award for the women's tennis team.

In order to earn the award, student-athletes must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in their semester of competition. There were 647 student-athletes that earned the award across the conference.

The men's and women's tennis teams both finished with cumulative grade point averages of 3.3 or higher. The men's team had a team grade point average of 3.37 while the women's team posted a grade point average of 3.54.
