Men’s Tennis Drop Non-Conference Match To UW-Eau Claire In Florida

ORLANDO, Flor. - The Webster University men's tennis team continued spring break play with a match against the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. The Gorloks won a doubles match but dropped the match by the score of 0-7.

In the number one doubles match, the team of Eli Bartek and Jack Forlenza took down their opponents by the score of 6-2 which was the only win for Webster.

In the number two doubles match, the duo of Griffin Olson and Shawn Smith battled their opponents closely but fell by the score of 4-6.

UW-Eau Claire won the third doubles match by default.

In the number one singles match, Bartek captured eight points but lost the match by the scores of 3-6 and 5-7.

In the number two singles match, Olson earned three points but fell by the scores of 2-6 and 1-6.

In the number three singles match, Forlenza battled closely in the first set by the score of 4-6 and dropped the second set by the score of 1-6.

In the number four singles match, Smith fought hard but dropped the match by the identical scores of 2-6.

In the number five and six singles matches, UW-Eau Claire won those by default.
