Three Gorloks Named To United Soccer Coaches All-Region VIII Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The United Soccer Coaches has released the names of the student-athletes that were selected to the All-Region Team. Webster's Luke Dillon, Frank Homa, and Scott Price were selected to the Region VIII team. 

This season, Dillon earned a Second Team All-Conference selection and finished second in the conference in three statistical categories. The St. Peters, Missouri native recorded a 1.62 goals-against average, 84 saves and five shutouts in 16 matches. Lastly, he third in the conference with a 4.94 saves per game average. 

First-year defender Homa was selected to the Second Team All-Conference team where he started all 17 matches and led the defensive unit to a league-high five shutouts and allowed the second fewest goals in conference play this season. He played a significant role in helping the Gorloks get to the 2024 SLIAC Championship match.

The international student-athlete from Wales, Price was named the 2024 SLIAC Freshman of the Year and a Second Team All-Conference selection that included a team-high 10 goals, led the conference with five game-winning goals, and earned a team-high 21 points. 

In addition, Price finished his freshman campaign inside the top-five of several SLIAC offensive statistical categories that includes three second-place finishes and a fourth-overall ranking. Price secured the second overall ranking with an average of 3.22 shots per match, second with an average of 1.50 shots on goal per match, and second in goals with 10. Lastly, Price earned the fourth overall spot in the points categories with 21 points as he averaged 1.17 points per match.
