PITTSBURG, Kan. – The Webster University men's track and field team was back in action over the last two days when they traveled to Pittsburg, Kansas, to compete in the Indoor Gorilla Classic at Pitt State (Kan.) University. There were not any team scores for the meet.
Joshua Clark led the way for Webster as he took 37
th place in the 400-meter run with a time of 50.52 seconds. His time of 50.52 seconds was a new school, and personal, record.
Clark also competed in the 4x400 meter relay along with
Dylan Patterson,
Austin Merritt, and
Sam Baker. The four placed 28
th in the race after finishing with a time of 3:33.66.
Merritt set a new personal record in the 200-meter run after finishing with a time of 23.21 seconds. His time of 23.21 seconds placed him 59
th in the race.

The Gorloks will return to the track on Saturday, February 17
th when they travel to Terre Haute, Indiana, to compete in the Indiana State University Open.
