Nieroda Paces Gorloks At Interregional Invitational

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - The Webster University men's cross country team competed in their fifth race of the season at the 2025 Interregional Invitational hosted by Augustana College. The Gorloks competed in the 8k race at Saukie Golf Course.

Webster was led by Ethan Nieroda with a new season-best time of 28:02.5. In addition to Nieroda, first-year student-athlete Simon Muthemba was the second Gorlok that crossed the finish line in the 28th minute as he recorded a time of 28:37.3.

Fellow first-year Brayden Halter and junior Johnny Imboden crossed the finish line in the 30th minute with times of 30:20.5 and 30:32.4 respectively.

In addition, first-years Gabe Feaman and Tyler Mooney recorded times of 32:05.4 and 34:28.9 respectively as that time by Feaman was a new personal record. Classmate Dalton Bartlett rounded out the field for Webster with a time of 38:43.8.

The Gorloks will compete in their biggest race of the season on November 1 hosting the 2025 SLIAC Championships at Buder Park North starting at 11:20AM in St. Louis, Missouri.
