Nieroda Named SLIAC Runner of the Week For The Week of Oct. 6-12

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has released the names of the student-athletes who were named Player / Runner of the Week for the week of October 6-12. WU's Ethan Nieroda was selected as the SLIAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week after his season-best 8k race at the Trojan Invitational.

Out of the field of 44 competitors that featured institutions from the Division II and NAIA affiliations, Nieroda ran a new season-best 8k time of 28:24.7 which placed ninth overall.

With this selection, it marks his first of this season and his fourth of his career.
