The Dynamic Duo of Lancaster and Wilson Earn First Team All-Conference Honors

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) has released the end of season awards for the sport of women's basketball. The dynamic duo of Bethany Lancaster and Emily Wilson were selected to the 2024-25 SLIAC Women's Basketball First Team All-Conference team.

Lancaster, a native of Buffalo, Missouri capped off her final year of college basketball with six top-10 rankings in the conference. She led the entire conference by shooting 56.5 percent from the field. In addition, she was a dominant force at the glass where she averaged 8.9 rebounds per game which finished third in the league. Moreover, she closed out the regular season fourth in the conference with an average of 19.8 points per game.

In addition, Lancaster finished the regular season with 54 steals for an average of 2.3 steals per game that finished eighth in the conference. She also finished eighth in the league with 21 blocks. Lastly, she capped off the top-10 statistical rankings by shooting 71.7 percent from the free-throw line. With this selection, it marks three years in a row for earning an All-Conference honor and second consecutive season for being selected on the First Team.

Wilson, a native of Quincy, Illinois had a fantastic senior season where she finished the regular season with six top-10 statistical rankings in the conference. She led the entire league with an 83.5 percent free-throw percentage and finished second by shooting 54.7 percent from the field.

In addition, Wilson led the team with 79 assists and finished in a tie for sixth in the conference with an average of 3.2 assists per game. Moreover, she finished second on the team and seventh in the league with 23 blocks. Wilson capped off the top-10 SLIAC statistical rankings eighth in points and rebounds with averages of 15.0 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. With this selection, Wilson secured her first all-conference honor in a Gorlok uniform.
