Three Gorloks Set New Personal Records At USF Fighting Chance Invite

JOLIET, Ill. - The Webster University women's track & field team traveled three student-athletes to the two-day University of St. Francis Fighting Chance Invite on Friday and Saturday. WU's Kianna Patton set two new personal records while Aissata Kamara and Isabelle Llewellyn achieved a new personal record in their respective events.  

In the 100m dash, senior sprinter Patton set a new personal record with a time of 12.79 seconds. In addition, Kamara achieved a new personal record in this event with a time of 12.93 seconds. 

In the 200m dash, Patton secured her second new personal record of the day with a time of 26.83 seconds.

In the discus event, Third Team SLIAC All-Conference honoree Llewellyn set a new season-best mark with a distance of 36.07m that earned an eighth place finish. 

Webster will continue the 2005 Outdoor season on Wednesday, May 14 at the Augustana College Midwest Twilight Qualifier in Rock Island, Illinois.
