Wong’s New School Record Long Jump At Principia Relays Earns SLIAC Men’s Athlete of the Week Honor

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) has released the names of the student-athletes who were named Player of the Week for the competing winter sports. WU's Robin Wong was selected as the SLIAC Men's Field Athlete of the Week for men's track and field following becoming the new Webster all-time school record holder in the long jump event. 

Back on January 30, 2026 at the Principia College Relays, Wong became the new all-time Webster indoor long jump record holder with a mark of 6.59m. With that mark, he currently ranks first in the conference in that event. 

With this selection, it marks the first of his career.

The Gorloks will be back in action this Friday, February 6 competing at Northwestern Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri.
