Six Gorloks Recorded A Top-10 Finish At Billiken Invitational

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Webster University men's track and field team competed in the Billiken Invitational where six Gorloks set a new personal record and one Gorlok recorded a new season-best. In addition, six Gorloks recorded a top-10 finish while the 4x100m relay team earned fifth overall.  

In the 100m dash, Dylan Patterson earned a third place finish with a time 10.81 seconds. WU's  Austin Merritt crossed the finish line with a time of 11.04 seconds that placed 10th overall. In addition, Kaiden Richardson and Lucas LaRue ran under 12 seconds with times of 11.24 seconds and 11.60 seconds respectively. Nic Richardson crossed the finish line with a time of  12.02 seconds while Juan Gomez recorded a time of 12.87 seconds.

In the 200m dash, K. Richardson earned a 10th place finish with a time of 22.30 seconds. In addition, N. Richardson recorded a time of 23.14 seconds while Mason Oldani crossed the finish line with a time of 24.43 seconds.

In the 400m dash, Kenneth Louvierre was the lone Webster competitor in the event and recorded a time of 58.59 seconds.

In the 400m hurdles, LaRue set a new personal best with a time of 59.75 seconds.

In the 800m, Brayden Halter paced the Gorloks and set a new personal record with a time of 1:59.42. In addition, Tyler Mooney set a new personal best with a time of 2:09.47. Gabe Feaman and Johnny Imboden rounded out the event for Webster with times of 2:10.14 and 2:10.63 respectively. 

In the 1500m, Imboden set a new personal record with a time of 4:25.08 while Mooney set a new personal record with a time of 4:35.75.

In the 3000m Steeplechase, Jacob Hawkins was the lone Gorlok in the event and recorded a fourth place finish with a time of 12:03.71.

In the 5000m, first-year Simon Muthemba set a new personal record with a time of 15:59.14 that earned sixth overall.

In the High Jump, Nkunim Kouame recorded a clearance of 1.82m that earned fourth place.

In the Shot Put, Jahrel Claude-Ennin set a season-best mark of 12.61m. 

In the Triple Jump, Robin Wong recorded a mark of 13.03m while Thomas Ogata set a mark of  11.98m.

In the 4x100m relay, the team of Robin Wong, Austin Merritt, Kaiden Richardson, and Dylan Patterson earned fifth place with a time of 42.58 seconds.
