The Webster University golf team dropped a two-stroke contest to Madonna University, 320-318, at the challenging 7037-yard PGA Village Ryder Course in Port St. Lucie, FL, on March 9.
The Gorloks were led again by
Kyler Scott (FR, Culver Academy, IN), who carded a tournament leading 74, two strokes over par. This marks Scott's second individual victory of the year. Team captain
Robby Meeh (JR, Lindbergh HS, STL) scored a solid five over par 77.
Dan Greiner (SO, Meramec, STL),
Dakota Street (FR, Eldorado HS, IL), and
Mark Fahy (SR, Christian Brothers HS, STL), posted rounds of 84, 85, and 87, respectively, for the Gorloks.
"I'm happy to see the results by Kyler and Robby." said Head Coach Andrew Belsky. "We've had a great week down here in Port St. Lucie and feel like some huge strides have been made."
The Gorloks next take to the course when they host the Gorlok Spring Invitational on March 28-29 at Roland Barkau Memorial GC in Okawville, IL.
